I use this plugin as well, the program at fault is FL studio, edirol orchestral saves states for other DAWs (Cubase, Ableton etc etc) the sad truth is most third party companies don’t give a flying fuck about FL because its not multi platform (ie not available for Mac (without bootcamp))

What I do is bump it down to audio once I have the composition figured out. This allows me to mix the tracks in the mixer rather than relying on orchestral’s in built mixer and it lowers CPU usage, while Edirol Orchestral isn’t particularly stressful on CPU, other programs I use are.

$600 is pretty steep but thats a lot cheaper than some rival programs.
